Bermuda Medical Waste Facility

Our latest installation is a medical waste processing facility at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in Bermuda. We have been the principal contractor in designing, installing, operating and maintaining this facility. It is a state-of-the-art model for how medical waste can be managed safely and effectively for an entire island nation.

    The facility utilizes the Bio-Oxidizer technology, the most environmentally safe system available today for applications that require the maximum reduction in weight and volume, greater than 95% and 99%, respectively.

The facility is housed in the hospital's Central Utilities Plant (CUP), and in addition to the waste processing technology features a refrigerated waste storage unit, control room, waste conveying system, residue discharge and handling system
