Company Background

Paul H. Stevers, President and owner, has over fourteen (14) years experience designing, installing, operating and maintaining state-of-the-art medical waste processing facilities utilizing the Bio-Oxidizer system alone, or a combination of the Bio-Oxidizer system and large scale steam sterilizers, both in the United States and abroad.

The Bio-Oxidizer medical waste processing system is the most environmentally safe system available today for applications that require the maximum reduction in weight and volume (greater than 95% each) of medical waste. The only limitation to this otherwise superb technology is its capacity of 100 pounds per hour. For larger, or commercial applications, we have designed facilities which consist of the Bio-Oxidizer system for special waste (pathological, sharps and chemotherapeutic waste) in combination with the most modern and effective steam sterilizer systems for the less sensitive medical waste (soiled drapes, gowns, gloves, dry dressings, etc.).

Whether the facility is to utilize existing space or a new building, we are a qualified prime contractor who has the know-how to offer our clientele a turnkey facility complete with receiving, unloading, material handling, processing, compacting (sterilized waste only), removal and detailed record keeping. Processed (sterilized) waste is prepared for landfilling or disposal at resource recovery facilities. We have designed and built these non-incineration facilities in a range of capacities up to 400 tons per day.

In addition to specifying the facility and technology for medical waste disposal, we also have considerable expertise in the area of medical waste management, including accomplishing feasibility studies and designing plans for the development and implementation of medical waste management plans for small and large jurisdictions. Our experience includes working with environmental protection agencies, health departments, other governmental entities and the general public in making these plans successful. We have competed for and won the right to manage the collection and disposal of medical waste for more than 9,000 generators since 1989.
